People here tell of a man who entered the other world. Only his shoes remained in the meadow. He returned thirty years later but had to walk barefoot into the village. He could then foretell people’s future, having seen “people’s candles” over there. The priest forbade him, but he disobeyed and was therefore confined in the rectory.
