Česká Kamenice · STORY FROM THE ATLAS

The Castle Peasant

South of Česká Kamenice, on Zámecký vrch, a ghost supposedly once appeared as an old beardless man in short trousers, pale shoes and a vivid blue cloak with a stiff leather collar. He was called the Castle Peasant. His face was white as a wall and an unnatural chill emanated from him. Anyone whose path he blocked soon suffered some misfortune. A hidden treasure is also spoken of here.
