An old millstone lies at Zádolí beyond Červená Řečice. People say a mill once stood near Hořepník. The miller once hired a travelling millhand skilled in magic. After they fell out, the millhand magically raised the millstone onto the mill’s roof, into the gable. But the miller too knew the black arts: he removed the stone from the roof and sent it after the millhand. It caught him at Zádolí and killed him. It has lain there ever since as an eloquent memorial.
