The former Třeboň archives, on the ground floor of the wing known as the Long Corridor, were haunted at night. According to B.Balbín, who often stayed here and even witnessed an apparition himself, it may have been the ghost of the Rosenberg chronicler Březan, who had no peace in his grave and was compelled to open drawers and make a noise in the archives at night.
