The Miracles of St Ludmila

St Ludmila died a martyr's death here. She was buried beside the castle wall, and many miracles occurred over her grave. Her daughter-in-law, Princess Drahomíra, supposedly had the house in which Ludmila died converted into the Church of St Michael, now St John of Nepomuk, so that the miraculous deeds could be attributed to that saint rather than to St Ludmila.
