According to an old legend, a headless ghost called Tisovec appeared here. It was supposedly the spirit of a former chief administrator of the brewery. After his burial, brewing yeast continually rose from his grave. Eventually the corpse’s head had to be cut off and buried in the forest to stop the apparition troubling the neighbourhood. Another source identifies this headless figure as Jindřich, Burgrave of Donín and owner of the Solnice estate. Twice a year he had to rise from his grave and ride headless on a fiery steed along the River Bělá.
