The so-called Marian Spring once lay here and was credited with miraculous powers. Three girls from Litovel used to bathe in it. The local lord, J. Šembera Černohorský of Boskovice, tried to surprise them in a strange disguise made from a stag’s hide with enormous antlers. Once, pursued by a huntsman, he ran into the church, removed the disguise and became a breathless nobleman again. The scene was painted in a picture that long hung on a tall oak beside the Marian Spring.
