At the courtyard entrance a tombstone of Sabina of Vřesovice was attached to the ruin, inscribed in Latin ‘Generosa domina Sabina’, Noble Lady Sabina. She was the daughter of Krupka's owner, the knight Koldic. She died young of grief for a knight she loved, whom her father had treacherously killed. Every hundredth anniversary of her death she supposedly revives and wanders the ruins weeping and searching for him.
