The Chod people associated many legends with Čerchov mountain (1042 m). Deposits of enormous crystals supposedly lie there. It also has an ominous reputation: at night the Wild Hunt rides out, a terrifying chase of noisy, howling spirits and animals led by an enchanted huntsman.
